The Simple Art of Group Healing & Holding Sacred Space

This 20 hour certification course combines the ancient wisdom of Yoga and the modern practice of the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing.

Reiki Restorative Yoga is a deeply meditative and restful practice that expertly weaves energy healing into restorative yoga. Through supported variations of ancient sacred shapes (asanas) students receive hands on Reiki allowing their body to deeply relax, releasing stress and tension while promoting the body’s natural ability to heal.

Throughout this weekend, you will learn:

-How to both practice and teach Reiki Restorative Yoga
-The key restorative poses to support holistic wellness
-Best ways to infuse your current yoga offerings with Reiki
-Yin/Restorative Yoga for Trauma & Ancestral Healing
-Practices of holding sacred space with Reiki
-How to safely apply gentle, warm touch to create a calm and peaceful impact
-How to comfortably position your body while offering hands-on Reiki assists
-The correlations between the yogic traditions and the practice of Reiki
-How to apply the 7 chakra subtle body system to inspire holistic well-being

This weekend intensive has been lovingly crafted by Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master/Teacher Nicole Lynne Hooley, this course prepares teachers to be a “holder of sacred space” and to experience their touch as a profoundly soothing catalyst for soul-centered well-being. Additionally, Reiki Restorative Yoga requires no particular strength or flexibility on part of the student, providing you with an offering that is easily adaptable and accessible to more people.

4 days of a Cultural Experience through the prism of Yoga, Reiki, Meditation and Silence.

We (Daya Yoga Studio) have built a home for our community at the top of a mountain in San Marcos, Lake Atitlan.

The Daya House is now ready and you are all invited.

Day 1

Arrival - January 23rd, 2019

Travel to the Lake : Car / Boat
45 minute Hike up to the Daya House*
-Some help will be arranged but its advised to pack relatively light.
6-8pm Reiki Restorative Opening Ceremony
8pm Dinner

At the Daya House

7am Yin Flow & Restore Yoga with Reiki Meditation
8:30am Breakfast
10-1pm Training
1pm Lunch & Free Time
3-7pm Training
7:30pm Dinner
10pm Yoga Nidra/Meditation

Day 4

7am Yin Flow & Restore Yoga with Reiki Meditation

Here is more about the lake:

Lake Atitlán is an endothermic lake, feeding into two nearby rivers rather than draining into the ocean. It is shaped by deep surrounding escarpments and three volcanoes on its southern flank. The lake basin is volcanic in origin, filling an enormous caldera formed by an eruption 84,000 years ago. The culture of the towns and villages surrounding Lake Atitlán is influenced by the Maya people. For many years the Lake have been hosting people from all over the world, where now many finds home and a place where mane spiritual communities have landed. Vortex of energy, healing, humans connecting, spirits teaching.
