Sarah Rayne is a creator, a facilitator of joy, and a heart-driven healer. She is a Third Degree Reiki Practitioner & one of the co-founders of Root Mamma, a Brooklyn-based Women's Healing Arts Collective. Her creations take the form of music, photography, herbal products, and handicrafts. Her spiritual beliefs and practices involve a healthy mix of folk magic, eastern spirituality, goddess worship, Wise Woman philosophy, and an unwavering faith in the universe.
Sarah's primary offering is Reiki Energy Healing. Sarah completed her first and second level certification courses with Cole Hooley of the Glowing Heart Reiki School in 2016, and completed the third level in 2018. Having personally experienced the powerfully transformative magic of Reiki, she is a huge advocate for this healing modality, and how it can positively impact anyone in need of healing, guidance, or a change of course in any parts of their life. In her sessions, Sarah will work with you to identify areas which are in need of love and attention, whether in the physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual realms. After a Reiki session, you will leave relaxed & uplifted, and your healing processes will have been activated, so that you can continue to work with Reiki to better yourself and your life. In addition to offering one-on-one Reiki sessions, Sarah also offers Reiki with Love, a special joint Reiki offering, along with her partner and fellow Reiki practitioner Zack Brady.
In a lifetime full of creative expression & experimentation, music is something that has stayed with Sarah throughout. She is currently working with music and sound to support her healing practices, in individual and group settings. Aside from composing and performing songs dedicated to the earth, the moon, and the deep healing processes of the mind, Sarah also practices intuitive sound healing, working with tone & vibration to break up stuck energies and augment other methods of healing, such as Reiki & meditation.
At Root Mamma, Sarah is a co-facilitator of moon circles & community gatherings, offers group crafting workshops, and has her handicrafts available in the Root Mamma Shop, in addition to managing day-to-day operations. She also enjoys event planning, healthy seasonal cooking, lady carpentry, bike riding, gardening, and laughter.
